Trump struggles to push Putin on truce talks due to 'friendship', expert says

FRANCE 24 spoke with Natasha Lindstaedt, Deputy Dean and Professor in the Department of Government at the University of Essex, about the ongoing war in Ukraine and the prospects for a ceasefire. Lindstaedt noted that US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin have "built a friendship" which she says has made it challenging for Trump to push hard for a ceasefire.
