A fully functioning Bat Bike was created using the engine of a Honda with a fiberglass kit. The Bike surprisingly held up in many stress and agility tests, but Christopher Nolan had another problem to solve. He wanted the Bat Bike to sound powerful, but sleek and modern. Technical engineers worked with sound files to finally create the end product, they achieved this by using the sounds of many sports cars layered over each other, and making it so that the pitch of the vehicle was always increasing when it was in frame. The final result was impressive and beautiful.

Overall, Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight paved the way and set the bar for future superhero movies, and influenced many creators to make intense, action-packed masterpieces.
