I believe that every teacher we have affects us in one way or another. They have the ability to change our lives in the way they approach learning, and I have been changed by every teacher I have had. My mother is a teacher, so while growing up I didn’t think much about the process of learning. It was just a part of my daily routine. But when I’m getting older, the more I realize how much my teachers have done for me.

While I can say that the majority of my teachers were absolutely wonderful, there’s ONE in particular that I won’t ever be able to fully explain the joy he has brought to my life in my university life. This is my attempt at thanking him for everything he is done for me and countless other students.

Anatomy is one of the most difficult subjects I am learning in school. Memorizing all the anatomical structures and their functions is tough enough as it is but I have a number of other classes to study far as well.

So I have to be more successful in my classes.

So he is the ONE who is responsible for me to be more successful in my anatomy classes so far.

I never planned to really push myself in the class, but he did, he knew exactly what I/we are capable of and made sure that I knew as well. I wasn’t sure I liked that, but I don’t know I would be without him pushing me to try harder.

One day I looked at the clock and realized I wished the class was much more longer.

We can’t learn if we are anxious, frightened. Safety is the part of the education starter kit. So he made me feel safe and confident.

Learning can be slow, messy, if the classroom is filled with more than 30 students at a time who arrives each day with different emotional needs and learn at widely different speeds. Remarkably he finds a way to stay calm and play his role giving us his time to support we need to learn. He was so open with us about everything. That’s what makes him different. Not only did him force us to learn but he made us love learning.

He always play the role of the student’s BIGGEST FAN, as a guider. His influence make a big difference in our levels of self-confident. His belief on us can help us learn of self-confidence, self-acceptance too.

I won’t remember every lesson he taught us, but I will remember how much we loved our time with him and how loved he made us feel.
