The respondents in this study concluded that such needs can be met through a combination of education, training, seminars, workshops, and exchange programs coordinated with infrastructure financing. This study forms a basis for policymakers and environmentalists to focus on the priority areas of urban environment and take steps to improve the quality of life.

The ongoing expansion of use of Delphi in areas other than its birth area of science and technology proves its effective relevance as a research tool which is yet to be accepted wholeheartedly in Indian research sphere.

It has a wide-spaced scope in conducting studies in the areas where direct opinion of individuals are crucial in order to understand the varied views of the people on the subject matter of study. Thus, there is strong evidence to enhance the use of this technique in conducting research studies and for making policy decisions, especially in the Indian context.
