Introduction
Healthy living affects your entire body. Being healthy is physically, mentally and socially being completely well. When changing unhealthy habits, you prevent yourself from certain diseases and or life threatening effects. Today, I will touch bases on four areas that will benefit your health. The following areas are: metabolic measurement:resting/active heart rate, physical activity:yoga,diet:increasing fruits and vegetables, and water/fluid intake:restrict high sugar beverages.
Metabolic Measurement: Resting/Active Heart Rate
The amount of times your heart beats per minute is known to be called a(n) pulse, and or heart rate.
Typically contributing to monitoring your fitness level. Heart rate change could occur due to your level of activity as well as age, emotion, medication, body size, etc.Your resting heart rate is the heart pumping the lowest amount of blood you need because you’re not exercising…your heart rate is normally between 60 (beats per minute) and 100 (beats per minute) (American Heart Association, 2015). Above (100 beats per minute) is considered a rapid pulse, called tachycardia, an unusually slow resting heart rate is called bradycardia (Wellness, 2010).
Individuals that have tachycardia have a high risk of having a fatal heart attack and or heart complications. Individuals that have bradycardia are also at risk of a(n) heart attack, heart disease, and or heart complications. Therefore, it is extremely critical for individuals to check their heart rate at all times to make sure that everything remains normal.
Physical Activity: Yoga
Yoga is a relaxing, soothing, graceful, and balanced practice involving your mental and physical health.
Which was created thousands of years ago in India, purposely enhancing and or increasing our potential health and happiness. The benefits of yoga is the improvement of flexibility, increase of blood flow, built of muscular strength, improvement of posture, etc. There are nine major and or common types of yoga. The nine types are: hatha, vinyasa, iyengar, ashtanga, bikram, hot, yin, kundalini, and restorative. Each with a different focus of the body’s use and health and benefit.
Diet: Increasing Fruits and Vegetables
Fruits and vegetables are classified from both a botanical and culinary standpoint. Fruits contain seeds, while vegetables can consist of roots, stems, and leaves (Rachel Link, 2017). Both fruits and vegetables contain high levels of fiber, but have lower levels of sodium and fat. Fruits and vegetables are found to be very much healthier than most meats we consume on a daily. Meats consume on a daily includes to fish, beef, turkey, and pork which is the top deadly and unhealthy meat. Therefore, it is very important to increase the consumption of fruits and vegetables not only for nutritional purposes but for energy as well. When increasing the consumption of fruits and vegetables, individuals decrease their risk of cancer such as colorectal cancer.
Water Fluid Intake: Water Only
Water also known as H2O is very essential to a(n) individuals health. Water can be in a gas, liquid, or solid form. Water can be cold, warm, hot, and or room temperature. The different types of water is tap, spring, mineral, well, purified, distilled, and sparkling. Very important for people to drink water everyday. Mainly due to the multiple benefits it serves. Such as, it regulates body temperature, moistens tissues in the eyes, nose and mouth, protects body organs and tissues, carries nutrients and oxygen (Speaking of Health, 2018). As well as dissolving a(n) abundant amount of substances. If you do not drink water you may become dehydrated and possibly malnourished which could lead to fainting and or serious health issues.
Conclusion
I order to live a healthier life, you must incorporate one of each four basic essentials of healthier living. Through the four basic essentials of healthy living, individuals will live a longer and healthier life. Each essential factor helps individuals have the ability to perform everyday activities. As well as protect and or prevent you from different disease and or diagnosis. Such as cancer, diabetes, obesity, and osteoporosis. Therefore, it is extremely important for us to take care of our bodies by using the four basic essentials to living healthy.
