Some of the most affected people in Kai’s opinion are drivers. This means that many artists and creative professionals will be out of jobs and not have many other places to turn, with their skills being very specific and not applicable to many other areas, especially with further AI automation.

Even with all the warnings, some say that AI improvements will benefit American workers. They claim that AI automation and improvements will actually create many jobs, which is true. However, what they don’t account for is the great difference between the number of jobs that will be lost versus the number of jobs that will be added. Another problem with this argument is that jobs involving AI are usually specialized, and would certainly require some form of education at the last, and likely a degree for a certain specialization. Because of this, many of the Americans who will be left unemployed will not be able to find a new job that revolved around AI because they have no experience or know-how.

Overall, AI is something that we cannot stop. It is inevitable, and its impacts will be far-reaching.
