Orders can be taken on the app or on their website and then delivered by their couriers less than an hour. In this essay I will talk about how the company makes plans to develop, what are the future plans, who benefits from successful future plans, who makes plans for future development.

Who makes plans for future development

The company is driven by an executive team formed by 25 members including the CEO, COO and general manager.

Future PlansFirst Deliveroo Plus is a monthly subscription plan elaborated by Deliveroo that costs 11.49 per month and free for the first month. Subscribers can access to unlimited free delivery fee on their orders instead of paying 2.50 per order, this subscription plan has been launched only in the UK for now but is going to be available also in other countries soon.

Secondly, Deliveroo raised over 860 million dollars and valuing this plan in a 2 billion project. Deliveroo wants to replace the riders and the restaurants with their own chef and delivering food with robots. Deliveroo has stored a huge amount of data about customers’ behaviors, categorized in which area in which time what food has been ordered so introducing their own chefs they can choose which food to offer customers and which specific areas and times.

With the introduction of their own chef’s prices will be reduced by half and this would increase the number of orders, in Deliveroo’s vision of the future restaurants are going to be only for special occasions and cooking as a hobby. With the development of artificial intelligence, Deliveroo is thinking to replace the riders with the robots and reduce the price and time by half.

Who benefits from successful future plansCustomer, and the company will benefit more than everyone if the future plans will succeed, with the Deliveroo plus customers who usually order from the platform will save a lot of money with subscription, and the company benefit is a subscriber mean is a loyal customer who is a long term client. With the introduction of their own chefs and robots, the prices are also going to be halved then customers will have to pay less and the company’s orders will increase. Staff also will get benefits, because Deliveroo decided to give 10 million shares to 2000 employees but given to riders which are considered self-employed and not employees.
