Harmon prior to the stickup… Naw” (195,197). This shows that Steve and Bobo never seen each other. This also shows that Steve and Bobo never heard of each other. Clearly, Steve Harmon did not know Bobo Evans. The second reason why I think Steve Harmon is innocent because the drugstore wasn’t clear.

For example, in the novel Monster, by Walter Dean Myers, wrote, “Mrs. Henry said that she was in the drugstore when the robbery happened… if someone was to make sure that the drugstore was clear, they made a bad job of it” (247).

This shows that Steve Harmon was not by the drugstore. This also shows that Steve Harmon wasn’t in the drugstore. Clearly, Steve Harmon couldn’t be the look out. The third reason why I think Steve Harmon is innocent because Steve didn’t give a signal. For example, in the novel, Monster, by Walter Dean Myers wrote, “He was suppose to tell us if there was anybody in the drugstore… He didn’t say nothing so we figured it was all right” (182).

This demonstrates that Steve Harmon did not make sure it was clear. This also shows that Steve was quiet and didn’t give a signal. Clearly, Steve didn’t give a signal.

Some people, however, would argue that Steve Harmon is guilty because, he was at the drugstore the day of the robbery. For example, in the novel Monster, by Walter Dean Myers wrote, “Anybody can walk into a drugstore and look around… I walked into a drugstore to look for some mints, and then I walked out.” (115,140). Some people would argue that this shows that Steve Harmon is guilty because Steve Harmon was in the drugstore when the robbery happened. However, they are wrong because Mrs. Henry was still in the drugstore, so Steve didn’t make sure that it was clear. In conclusion, we should find Steve Harmon innocent. One positive effect of this would be Steve Harmon would get to do his films and make movies. By finding Steve Harmon innocent he gets to enjoy the rest of his life not behind bars.
