As it stands now young people between the ages of 18 to 25 make 16% of the world population. How a church or ministry uses technology influences how people will view the ministry. According to research, over 60% of church-goers say that a church’s website is important in facilitating their participation at church (CRCNA.org ).

A website allows congregants to explore serving opportunities at the church, connect with their fellow congregants and community, forward helpful information to others and interaction with the church leadership.

Instead of the church spending a lot of money printing out calendars, information about programs, and bulletins, and then making sure he are accessed by individual church members, the church can simply upload them and share them on your website. Doing this is also better for the environment.

Many Christians are no longer carrying bibles to church, let alone own one. This has bred a Laissez-faire attitude where everyone is doing as they please. It also creates a culture of over dependency on social media.
